Please read the following safety information carefully before using our products.

Adult Supervision Required

All sensory play activities should be completed under active adult supervision at all times.

Many of our products contain small parts that may present a choking hazard for young children.

Our products are intended for supervised play only and should never be left with children unattended.

Age Recommendations

Our sensory products are generally recommended for children aged 3 years and older unless otherwise stated.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their child’s age and developmental stage.

Not Intended for Consumption

Our sensory materials are designed for play and are not edible.

While some ingredients may be taste-safe, all products should be kept away from mouths and consumed only under appropriate parental judgement.

If accidental ingestion occurs and you are concerned, please seek medical advice immediately.

Allergies & Sensitivities

Some products may contain ingredients or materials that could cause allergic reactions or sensitivities.

We encourage parents and caregivers to:

review ingredients where provided,
supervise children closely during first use,
and discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

Storage & Product Care

To help maintain product quality and hygiene:

Store products in a cool, dry place
Reseal containers or bags after use where applicable
Keep products away from moisture and direct sunlight
Discard any sensory materials showing signs of mould, damage, or contamination

Natural wear and tear is expected with sensory play products over time.

Messy Play Disclaimer

Sensory and messy play can occasionally stain surfaces, fabrics, or clothing.

We recommend:

using protective mats or trays,
dressing children in play-friendly clothing,
and supervising all activities carefully.

The Little Naturalist cannot be held responsible for staining or damage caused during use.

Product Variations

As many of our products are handmade or prepared in small batches, colours and textures may vary slightly from photographs shown on our website or social media.

Damaged Products

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

your order number,
a description of the issue,
and clear photographs where possible.
